A message from Japan

Almost three months after the earthquake and the ensuing nuclear disaster, the situation in Fukushima is still not under control. On the contrary, it is now clear that the reactors suffered meltdown at the very beginning, and of course, radioactive contamination is still spreading all over the world.

This is just way too scary! No kidding!

At the same time, the Japanese anti-nuclear movement is growing every day. In Tokyo, the 4/10 demo in Kouenji and the 5/7 demo in Shibuya each gathered more than 15.000 participants, and now demonstrations are spreading across the country. Most likely in response to that, the government have made some small steps toward a different energy policy by temporarily halting the construction of new nuclear power plants, and even shutting down one or two old reactors. But it would be completely meaningless to let it stop here. Now that we all know that nuclear plants were never safe to begin with, an earthquake-prone country like Japan can not settle with anything less than the complete abolishment of nuclear power. Not only that, the whole world needs to get rid of nuclear power once and for all!

The way things are going, who knows when I’ll be able to enjoy my sashimi again?

Under these extreme circumstances, the Japanese government still refuses to consider the abolishment of nuclear power. We will keep on gathering in even larger demonstrations, but voices from the global community is an equally important part of this struggle. Everyone, please help Japan! In hopes that together we can prevent further tragedies like this, we send our message of support to all the anti-nuke movements across the world!

We are also calling for a global day of action against nuclear power on June 11, three months after the disaster. Everyone, join us in this massive action, and together, let’s get rid of the nukes forever!

Aufruf zu weltweiter Aktion am 11. Juni

Fast drei Monate nach dem Erdbeben und der nachfolgenden nuklearen Katastrophe, ist die Situation in Fukushima noch nicht unter Kontrolle. Im Gegenteil, es ist jetzt klar dass die Reaktoren schon ganz am Anfang zur Kernschmelze kamen. Und dazu, radioaktive Verseuchung ist jetzt noch überall verbreitet.

Wie Schrecklich! Kein Scherz!!

In dieser Situation vergrößert sich die japanische Anti-Atomkraft-Bewegung. In Tokio versammelten sich zur Demonstration am 10. April in Kouenji
und 7. Mai in Shibuya jeweils mehr als 15.000 Personen, und jetzt sind Demonstrationen über das Land ausgebreitet. Wahrscheinlich als Reaktion auf dessen hat die Regierung seine Nuklearpolitik geringfügig verändert, z.B. Neubau von Kernkraftwerke gestoppt, und sogar ein Paar alte Reaktoren heruntergefahren. Aber damit ist es noch völlig sinnlos! Jetzt, da wir schon alle wissen, dass Kernkraftwerke gar nicht sicher sind, müssen alle AKWs in diesem erdbebengefährdeten Land vollständig abgeschafft werden. Und natürlich nicht nur Japan, Abschaffung aller Atomenergie weltweit ist nötig.

Dieser Zustand, in dem wir keine Sashimi genießen können, gefällt uns gar nicht!

Auch in diesem extremen Stadium, die japanische Regierung weigert sich immer noch die Abschaffung der Kernenergie zu berücksichtigen. Viele weitere Großdemos werden bei uns noch geplant, jedoch Stimmen und Solidaritäten aus der Weltgemeinschaft sind ebenso wichtige Teile dieses Kampfes. Bitte helfen Sie Japan! In der Hoffnung, dass wir gemeinsam weitere Tragödien wie diese verhindern können, senden wir unsere Botschaft der Solidarität an alle Anti-Nuke Bewegungen auf der ganzen Welt!

Dies ist ein globaler Aktionsaufruf für den 11. Juni, drei Monate nach der Katastrophe.

Wir hoffen ernsthaft, dass ihr an diesem Tag zusammen massive Aktionen durch-
führen werdet, wie Demonstrationen, Medienaktionen, Straßenaufführungen
oder Benefizveranstaltungen. Arbeiten wir zusammen in Solidarität,
gegen alle Nuklearanlagen weltweit!

大地震と津波による福島原発事故から早くも３カ月がたとうとしていますが、相変わらず、まったく事故が収束に向かう気配はありません。それどころか、実は事故当初から完全にメルトダウンしていたというニュースが入ってきたり、日本各地への放射能汚染も広がったり、とんでもないことになっています。

これは恐ろしい限りです！　冗談じゃないです！

こういう状況の中で、日本でも反原発運動が拡大しています。東京では、４月１０日の高円寺、５月７日の渋谷で、それぞれ１万５千人規模のデモが行われたのをはじめ、日本中でデモが多発しています。その成果もあってか、日本政府も原発の新規増設を見合わせたり、一部の原発を停止したりするなど、原子力政策をほんのわずかだけ変化させてきました。しかし、このぐらいではほとんど意味がありません！　原発が全く安全ではなかったことが明らかになった今、これを機に、地震の多い日本の原発などすべて廃止しなければいけません。そしてもちろん、日本に限ることではなく、こんな危なっかしい原発なんか、全世界から消し去らないといけません！

もう、安心して刺身も食べられないような状態は、まっぴらごめんです！

この期に及んで日本政府は、いまだ原発の全廃を決断できていません。我々はこれからもより巨大な反原発デモを展開していきますが、海外からの連帯の声が日本政府に対しても大きな力になります。みなさん、日本を助けてください！　そして、今回の福島の事故のようなことが２度と起こらないようにするためにも、日本から全世界の反原発運動にも強く声援を送ります！

そして、福島の事故からちょうど３カ月の６月１１日に、全国・全世界同時の超巨大行動を呼びかけています！　もし可能なら、一緒にとんでもないアクションを起こしましょう！！全世界の原発を全廃させましょう！
